game upscales to 1080p but I believe it's still only 600p

What is with guys leading with 6 kills like 10 seconds into the match in free for all? I see this all the time. Is this legit or are they glitching???

finally back to even. man i hate sharing.
if i create a different user on the ps3 and they play online, will that keep those stats separate from mine?

Yeah just create a second account for them to use. I finally did the same for my best friend with cod4. He kept coming over to play and would promptly send my kill to death down 10 points. Then I would spend all week getting it back, then he comes over again on the weekend, and it all happens again...and again...and again.

I ended up getting him a ps3 for his birthday and that ended his using my machine altogether.


Expect your friend to get upset that he has to start from the beginning with no perks, etc.. my friend loved being able to use my loadouts....which I could never understand because he sucks so bad anyway.

First week i was a 0.91 which was hard to take considering i had over a 2 ratio and was in the top 500 in kills @ WAW then i went to a 1.86 and moved up nicely since then, game is not easy to say the least.

on a side note nothing pisses me more off then the clowns who use double shotguns i mean some of these fukers are scopin me with them its redic the distance on them and most are bullsh!t.

Ive completed the M4A1, SCAR-H, UMP45, RPD, & AUG HBAR and have the titles for them. ACR though is my new favorite.. Im having a great time with this gun especially when paired with stopping power pro.

Also, Hardcore: HQ Pro is the best XP gameplay out there. I consistently get 10,000+ XP per match. All you gotta do is haul ass to the HQ each time its available to cap, and bust your ass to either cap it or destroy it. You earn XP for each millimeter of progress on the bar (for capping\\destroying) it seems. Lots of fun, lots of XP.

Including bonuses? If not, I might have to give it a try again.

I played a couple games of HCHQ and it was all campers with grenade launchers.

My Setup (Lvl 70, I get 174 Kills per hour right now 1.5 K/D)

With my setup, and all my setups I knife mostly. I have yet to find any one else that does this knife only strat. I would say honestly about 6000 of my 10000 kills are knifes. I do FFA/Ground War/Domination. People hate me. Most of the time I get a care package and just hold that during game, you have no weapon but you knife faster and run a bit faster.

Can be.. but it doesnt much matter as youre gaining XP the whole time if youre playing correctly. And if youre on a team of people playing correctly it's even better.

Hardcore in general is frustrating as everyone knows its 1 shot kills so they all play like selfish noobs camping doorways or sniping or iron-site sniping or constantly hidden and prone, etc..

If you stop caring about your K\\D ratio so much and care more about your XP levels, both will improve.

Now I'm confused. You just said you get 10,000+ XP per match playing HCHQ. Is that with or without bonuses?

I understand how HQ works, I've played a million and one HQ games in COD4/5, but I haven't found the need to in this game since I tend to get just as many points playing domination and other games in MW2. But, if I can get 10,000+ in HCHQ, I might try it again.

Check out the Javelin glitch. I saw a Twitter post from the devs that a patch is in the works.

I dont recall off the top of my head, but that is total. I've gotten over 25,000 XP in a single match before but am usually in the 15k range.

Not really a glitch, you run faster with care package regardless of setup. I cant attack with a weapon so im forced to go close quarters.

Yes it is a glitch (if what you are saying is that you cook the care package grenade). If you use it to gain an advantage over the other team, you are cheating. People that exploit this type of stuff ruin the game for everyone. Trust me, anyone using a known exploit in a game and I recognize it, I report them. I also try and get everyone on my team to as well. I have no tolerance for cheaters.

So why not play the game like everyone else?

No I do not cook it or anything. I just hold it really. All I am simply doing is holding a care package marker, and using a knife. I do not hold a button in or anything. Its no different than a tactical knife on a pistol except you cannot shoot and you run a little faster. I hate cheaters as much as the rest of us...

That's the exploit part. You're not supposed to be able to run faster.

So you select the care package marker with the D-Pad, hold down the trigger like you're going to throw it but never do? If so, then that's cooking, except it won't explode like cooking a grenade would.

I'm sorry if you see it differently, but you are cheating. I think most people here would agree that exploiting this glitch is a form of cheating.

LOL! The jury is out on whether this an official exploit or not BUT given that it allows the care package marker handler an unlimited "boost" in speed, even the knife, it's pretty damn deadly.

Yes, ANYONE can use it but, if it wasn't meant to be played like that, then well, it's wrong isn't it?

Tactical knife - you "earn" that and it's supposed to be there.

I've yet to run into the javelin glitch on PS3, but the akimbo 1887's drive me nuts. I'm sure it will be part of the fix, but it can't come soon enough.

I ran into both last night in the same match. I literally wanted an actual nuke to use on the whole world by the time that match had finished LOL..

Anyone know how to get your NAT to open for MW2?

I was getting kicked left and right out of parties last night, and I'm wondering if it had to do with my NAT.

I setup a static IP, but I don't think I have all the right ports open. Portforward.com didn't have any general PS3 settings, I only saw specific games, none of which were for MW2.

Hey guys, just got a PS3 again last week and am looking to build my friends list. Usually play around 7-10 pm est. Anyone who wants to send me an invite feel free, psn name is in my sig. Put avs in the subject so I know to accept.

A configuration that has worked for me so far is with the M4A1 Assault Rifle. I recommend unlocking all attachments and the Bling perk. To be honest, ALL my classes have an M4. Reason? It is an EXTREMELY effective gun at all ranges. My main class has the M4 with grenade launcher and red dot, along with an USP. The other perks are all relative to what you like. If you need to fight in a CQB map, like Rust, then equip the M4 with a heartbeat sensor and a shot gun attachment. Because of the maps small size, the heartbeat sensor lets you know where almost everybody is. The shotty is great if your going to storm the enemy or camp on hardcore. Steady aim helps too :P For long range, you can equip the M4 with ACOG and FMJ. ACOG for its longer range, obviously, but FMJ incase the target is behind a wall or may be hard to hit. Basically so if you dont hit them a lot, you will still deal a signifigant amount of damage.

I dont see cooking the care package as a glitch or an advantage. People would run faster while not holding a weapon so I dont see a problem. I wish I'd run into someone running knife only. lol

Akimbo shotguns is a glitch? I saw someone using them the other day but didnt think anything of it. I died to them a bit but he caught be from behind. I thought to myself it was a bit too far away to get killed but whatever...
