Looking for a LCD Display - 42 to 46 in. ~$1.3k Budget

As the title says,

I'm looking for a LCD TV after spending some time in my local big box electronics retailer. I have a strict budget of around $1,300 but I'd like to stay below this if at all possible. Any and all suggestions are welcome.

The Tv itself is beautiful. The hint of red is very subdued yet adds a nice touch when you get up close.

I would not limit yourself to just Samsung. Check out more brands like Toshiba, Sharp, LG. Even Vizio has gotten much better since they came out.

At about $1.2k a 42" size is going to be much easier to find a higher end model than at 46", but there are plenty of online deals out there. Last weekend at BB there was a sale of some kind and there were plenty of sets that would fit your stated requirements.
