this is weird.
suddenly after the tv is on for anywhere from a few minutes to an hour or so,
the tv volume goes to 0 and the display remains on the screen. it's as if someone is pressing the volume down button and won't let go.
it's still under warranty. so i called their tech support (there is only one guy who works there). he said take the power cord out from the tv and leave it out overnite. i told him that is the dumbest thing i have ever heard and he said ok well then do an rma.
i would rather not ship this tv 6000 miles on my dime. i am hoping it is just a loose connection or something relatively easy to fix.
anyone ever heard of such a thing?
