I cannot for the life of me get this thing to work properly. Tried support, relearning, ect. Just checking to see if my remote is defective or if others have (or had) any issues.

Just tested my 890 last night with my HD20. Using infrared it was not working properly for me either. I didn't have time to play with it but definitely will tonight.

I have the Optoma HD20 in my conference room. I've been programming the "Universal Remote KP-900" to control Projector / Screen / Receiver...

Everything is working perfectly fine EXCEPT the Projector. I can turn it ON just fine.... however, turning it off is hit or miss.

The learned code from the remote does not appear to be 100% correct for whatever reason. ON learned just fine though, just not OFF.

You need to send (2) OFF commands to successfully shut the projector off..... I'm sending about 50 and USUALLY that works, but not 100% still.....

HELP!

I also experienced problems with HD20 and Harmony 1000. You just need to re-learn all the buttons on your Harmony using HD20's remote. Harmony's database is incorrect in respect to HD20

I've learned and re-learned the ON & OFF buttons and still flakey when trying to turn off.

You have gotten yours to shut down consistently using a Harmon remote? I'm begining to think its not a "remote" issue but more of whatever that specific shutdown IR code is....

Yes, it worked perfectly fine. Again, I use RF extender which virtually eliminates problem with pointing IR etc...

Hmmm, maybe i'll have better luck with the RF extender....... I have one...... but was just pointing my remote at the projector for testing...... One would think this should be very simple......... I have everything else working....... just the OFF for the projector is holding me up! haha

in the Harmony interface if you go to troubleshooting section for specific device (your PJ), you will be able to adjust power related configuration. Somewhere there you will be able to specify that your power off requires more than one button and simple add or
