For someone who has never owned surround, would the Klipsch Quintet be night and day?

I have never owned surround system, always used tv speakers. If I got the Best Buy offering of the Yamaha, Klipsch Quintet, and 350-watt subwoofer, would it be a night and day experience compared to what I am used to?

More than night and day difference. You will wonder how you watched TV all those years without it. Especially after a couple months and try watching with just the TV speakers. You won't be able to.

hey modirn.. I got the quintets, sub 10 and 665 yamaha and they are pretty good....
16x18 room....... they don't knock my socks off but sound very good considering the size and price.....
