I found quite a few posts in this thread talking about what RF setting to use to get a high quality encoding. For example a few people stated that RF=16 gives a high quality result but going down to RF = 15 for 14 may be slightly better. The problem I have is many such posts never state if they are talking about compressing DVD or Blu-rays. The "best" settings can be different for compressing 1080p Blu-rays vs. DVDs and we need to know the context for any suggested settings for Handbrake.
