Agreed.
I doubt VERY much those guys are bright enough to be talented quipsters in real life.

Sure, a lot of situations are setups (yeah, there are camera crews in the shop ALL the time).

Nonetheless, it is one of my favorite shows.

A "reality" TV show isn't entirely real? OMG, what a shock.

I've got news for you guys. 100% of "reality" TV shows are staged and edited to some degree. Even news programs are cut to present an editorialized view.

Does anybody still watch this show? I still enjoy it, I actually watch it in bed tongue.gif

Some of the major collections people bring in are impressive. Collecting can become obsessive and costly. New episodes tonight, I'll be watching.

I find myself watching it less, but if nothing else is on I watch it. I rarely record it.

Sure....I watch it (and record it).

I know the drama is staged, but I like seeing the historical stuff that is brought into the shop.

My son and I love the show and we too record it.

I was in Vegas in Jan, so on Saturday, we drove by the store. There was a decent size line outside to get in.

That's what I've always heard, it's more like a tourist attraction these days. I also hear the owners (people featured on the show) are hardly there during regular Monday-Friday 9-5 hours.

Not too surprising...I imagine they spend most of their time counting their $$$ the show has brought in.wink.gif

I just think it's a fun show and you learn a little something while watching it, same with American Pickers and American Restoration. All three are must-watch for me. At least it's better than the garbage on the Totally Ludicrous Channel (TLC).
