GreenGlue: By the tube or pail?

Which is the better path to follow...purchasing GG in tubes or by the pail (and purchasing the gun)? Depending on the percent coverage, I could easily use 2 -3 pails. It seems like pails are a cheaper route but is it practical?

Is there some special reason you found it necessary to create two separate posts on the same subject instead of just editing your original post?

The answer to your question is to buy by the pail and get the speedloader. It will cost you less and be faster to apply.

I hired drywall installers so I went with tubes for straight forward ease of use (they had never used GG) and less labor (time is money too). Are you doing it yourself and good working with "messy" materials? Then it's a no brainier to save money and buy pails.

All of your threads should be in the Home Theater Construction forum and you should just have one thread.
