Friends I have done searches but there is so much info on this site. I'm having a hard time narrowing down what I need.
Trying to a get something up and running asap on a very limited budget. Family coming over for Christmas. Plan on upgrading to the really good stuff later.
My theater room:
Dedicated room in basement with no windows, 20.5 x 18.5 8' ceiling
7 / 8" holes already cut in ceiling already wired.
Has a separate rack room with door.
Saw some nice older receivers (usually no HDMI) on craigslist. Set to pick up HTR-5960 tomorrow for ~$120.
Good idea?
