Looks like you've got it pretty well covered. Nice job.

Excellent. Using a tower for you center channel is very good. You'll get better performance versus the traditional horizontal (mtm) designs.
A few questions for you. How does the popcorn hour c200 perform with bluray?
Do you get true hd audio bitstreaming? Did you run into any issues playing back any discs? And, can it play ripped bluray iso's (<<<--- I need to know this one)

thanks.

very nice.
I love seeig people with projector setups in their family room.

How long is the hdmi cable run from your reciever to the projector?
I've heard that you can't do runs of over 25 feet before signal loss--this is the main reason why I am avoiding a projector.

I chose to do a tower also because towers seem to be much cheaper than dedicated center channels. Only drawback is that I have an extra tower I'm not using since they were sold in pairs.

It does HD bitstreaming as well as pcm. The system is still new, and I've run into a few snags with certain discs, but it should be pretty stable in the next few months with firmware updates like the previous a-100 models. I feel they released it a bit too early. It will play bd iso's as well.

I have a 35 ft run, without issues. The gauge of my wire is also very thick. I don'y know exactly, but it's probably twice as thick as a normal hdmi cable. If you need longer, they make cat 5 extenders.

subiefast - everything looks great! what equipment rack is that in your living room?

Great lineup, I also like the idea of a tower center!

Very nice indeed!

It's the cheapest one they had at target.

I used the tower center also because I had an MTM center, but dialogue was very hard to hear due to the horrid room acoustics. The tower made a huge improvement.

Especially with a coaxial speaker that has KEF's Tangerine waveguide. (I feel like Billy Mays)

Sweet setup(s)! I'm digging the white framed border around your screen.

Question, what shelves are your speakers sitting on in the bedroom here?

I just picked up some black shelf brackets, and a big white vinyl laminate mdf closet shelf board at home depot.

I cut she mdf into two pieces, and spray painted them black. I then screwed the brackets into the sheet of mdf.

Hello Subiefast.

You have put together some very impressive setups, especially the tri-tower Kef IQ-Series front speaker array for your theater. I bet the dialogue coming from the center tower is outstanding. No doubt, the best solution for center channel performance, a matching tower. Bravo and well done!

Regards.

Wow Nice

Very impressive. I love the center tower, I wish it wasn't so hard for me otherwise I'd do it too. I like the fact that you posted all your setups. You definitely have a house full of goodies. Where do you live, again? lol

What are you using to keep the center speaker mounted on the TV's frame?

It's an omnimount center channel mount.
Thanks, I'm gonna have to look into that.

Are those Focupix screens easy to set up. Good quality? I'd like to go with something simple that performs and of course cheap. I like the way you have the room set up. The Benq looks nice.

Great quality. This is actually the second screen I owned, I have one in the garage as well, since I moved to a new house and needed a smaller screen.

Setup takes probably about 20 minutes. Very easy to setup.

Hey subiefast, what do you have your svs sub sitting on? Is that to prevent too much shaking in the room? I'm trying to decide between the PB-12 NSD and the PC-12 NSD, myself.

It's sitting on an auralex gramma. It's supposed to isolate the sub from the floor to tighten up the bass a bit. It was about $50.

I'm sure you'll be happy with either SVS sub, they're probably very similar.

Ah, so it's the bigg(er) boy. I was thinking about getting an auralex pad because I didn't want to shake the walls too much. Do you find that it helps with that? I wanted the PB-12, but the PC12 is easier to place and lighter, which helps. I'll probably be placing my order this week!

If you decide on the PB-12, it would probably be best to buy to of the pads. The enclosure is pretty large, and two of them would probably fit much better. I'm probably going to buy another one soon. It does help from shaking the walls, but if you do buy this sub, the walls will shake regardless. It's a very high impact sub that weighs 75lbs. It was built to make some noise.

I was watching the movie "9" not too long ago, and some of the bass scenes caused the sub to blow a stack of papers off my coffee table. If you look at the photos, my sub is a good 12-15 feet away from the table.
