Automated Usenet Client for HTPC

Thread Starter
I just finished up building my HTPC and I'm looking for a client that will process a shared directory where I can put .nzb's. If it processed / auto-repaired them, that'd be a definite bonus - but downloading them automatically is the big factor.

I've done a bit of digging, but it seems like there are some clients that close to what I need in SABnzbd and NZBget. Are there any other options out there? Or should I just stick with one of these 2?

Thanks in advance for all your help.

You want the mother of all binary newsreaders - Newsbin Pro.

You can specify an "autoload" directory which Newsbin will scan every 10 sec and automatically load any NZB (or zip file containing an NZB) placed there. It will also automatically repair and unrar files when a download is complete. It will even skip parity files by default, and only download them if they're needed. For what it does, $35 for lifetime updates is an excellent deal.

there's none better than newsleecher. all the features of the other players in the game and more. plus a builtin indexing (think google) feature so you can search usenet for the things you need without having to download all the headers first.
