Fullscreen Break-in D-Nice?

I've just got my KRP-500M setup and ready to enter the calibration settings from D-nice. I also just used CloneCD to burn the break-in DVD.

How when I run the break-in DVD by default it's a wide screen view with black bars? Should I use the view changer on the remote to change it to fullscreen for the 150 break-in?

Yes, you should run it in full screen, per the panel aging settings here:

Also are there any blu-ray movies with a FULL-screen aspect ratio that I can watch before the break-in or is there some other safe way to watch a movie without doing the break-in right now?

A few of the Pixar movies do. I can think of Up and Monster Inc.

It's safe to watch movies if you want to watch movies without breaking it in; just be sure to vary the content. The 150 hour panel aging process is there so you can use the reference settings afterward and is generally recommended to follow it strictly if you want to reproduce his results (though it is no substitution for calibration because of panel variation), though I don't think it will necessarily hurt your panel if you decided to watch some movies here and there in between. Some people never run break-in slides at all and they're panel is fine to this day.

I've been watching movies and stuff right out of the box with my TV. I've only seen some slight image retention going from 4:3 content to 16:9 where the sides are darker due to the black side panels, but it lasted less than 30 seconds. I've been running break in slides for the past 3 days, not nights cause I can't sleep with them running in my bedroom. I'm going to put in the settings for the service menu, for my 50x1 panasonic, once I run these for about 8 days.
