Tone Controls For The Radeon Hd Cards?

Thread Starter
I just got an gigabye hd radeon 4550 video card. It's hooked up via hdmi to my denon reciever. Previously I was using optical from my auzentech x-plosion card to thr avr and audio sounded great. With the auzentech you use their mixer to adjust bass/treble ect.... Where can you adjust these settings with 4550. To me the audio doesn't sound as rich with the hdmi connection as compared to the optical connection. I installed the realtek hdmi audio drivers but there is no settings for bass/treble.

So can you not adjust tones with the radeon? It's supposed to do 7.1 uncompressed sound so I thought it would sound better than optical but i find it much flatter......

Any help would be appreciated.

those things should be adjusted in the reciever not in the source.
