4 speakers with bass management possible?  

Hello, I'm considering the use of a HTPC to replace my pre/pro. This is my speaker configuration:

2 main speakers which are full range
2 surround speakers which are "small"

This basically gives me a 4.0 setup, so I need the following bass/speaker management:

-Create phantom center channel and route this to the mains
-Route bass from the rear speakers to the mains
-Route bass from the .1 LFE channel to the mains

Is it possible to do this with any software DVD players and or M-Delta audio cards?

I have researched this on the forum, but I'm yet to come to a positive conclusion.
