Alright this is a such a pain in the a**. I doubt I'll even be able to get this work.
1. First for my gaming, I use a HannsĀ·G HH-251HPB Black 24.6" 2ms HDMI Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 DC 15000:1

I am using this monitor with HDMI input. I'm using it because my current HD-TV has too much game lag.
2. I want to capture my gameplay using the HD-PVR witch uses component inputs/outputs.

3. I am using an Onkyo 606 receiver. I am taking the component from the HDPVR and converting it to HDMI to send to my computer monitor.
For some reason I can only get 480i to work on my computer monitor. Whereas I can get 1080i/1080p to work on my laggy old HDTV.
I am desperate for help. I just got the HD-PVR today. I think it definitely has to do with the monitor since I can get it to sort of work on the TV. I know my multiple bridged connections probably has something to do with the error.
I even removed the HD-PVR completely away from the connection and tried to do 360/PS3 component > receiver hdmi > computer monitor and could still only get 480i.
I was even looking to see if one of these adapters might work.
