This will be my first HDTV. I plan on using it to watch HDTV (mostly sports), play video games, and watch blu-ray movies. The room I'm putting it in isn't that wide, so viewing angle isn't that big of a concern to me. The room is also frequently brightly lit so it won't be used often with the lights out.
I guess it's like a 120hz LCD vs Plasma debate. There's a great deal going on at Best Buy where I can get that Sony LCD for about $1300 with a free PS3, PS3 game, Blu-Ray movie while the Panasonic Plasma doesn't have any special bonus items with it but it's still just $830 so there isn't a huge price difference. Any ideas?
