DET vs CIN starts off with a problem with the Fox Box. Using the backup Fox Box with the clock cam keyed in.

Yeah, and it looks really bad. Hopefully they can get the regular one fixed quickly.

Considering it has almost been a full quarter with the backup score bug and they are now doing out of town scores with graphics between plays it does not look good to see the regular FOX Box today.

Seeing some video freezes on the Lions vs. Bengals game. Watching via Comcast from WJBK in Detroit. PQ of the game has been okay, not best I have seen from FOX.

a bunch of video freezes on the eagles/falcons game. other than that, pretty decent pq.

wtxf out of philly, fios south jersey.

or should it be a local channel

"Brrrrp" is back in a bad way on Saints/Redskins. Seems to be national with reports from the southeast and from the northwest.

WNYW-DT NYC FiOS TV
I hope FOX takes NYC away from the awful PHI 27 ATL 0 game and switches us to New Orleans @ Washington.
It's 34-0 Come on FOX! Take us to Washington, please.
FOX is going to force us to watch a blowout in Atlanta.
Now it's 34-0. The only reason I can think of that there hasn't been a switch yet is Michael Vick.

Or the commercial breaks are not lined up. They are not going to drop a commercial break just to switch to a better game.

FOX can do whatever they want. I'm watching CBS till DAL @ NYG starts since they won't switch to Washington.
FOX waits for PHI @ ATL to end then they go to Washington.
Wow...switching away from the last drive in Washington?!?!?!
How assinine no matter what the reasoning....can someone say heidi??
Thank you FOX for further showing me how bad you run your football programming.
Just missed an amazing, fast drive to tie it by the Saints....I HATE FOX.
Watched the entire Saints/Redskin game in glorious HD on FOX. No worries. Looks like it might be going into overtime... However, the Redskins should cover the spread..

You need NFL RedZone.

My provider needs to offer it for less than $11 a month. Then I would get it.
I had the Ticket on D* for a few years until I moved this summer and had to lose the sat.

Still...you'd think someone would make the right move at FOX in that situation...oh wait it's FOX...what was I thinking.
Philly is getting the same thing that NYC got.
FOX would not let us watch NO @ WASH till PHI @ ATL was over.
Now FOX will not show you NO @ WASH and is forcing you to watch DAL @ NYG.
That was assinine as well.(staying with Philly)
They should have left in the beginning of the fourth quarter.
It's like there is no one actually there working and thinking?

WNYW-DT NY OTA

3 games to analyze

PHI/ATL Main cam looked soft, typical FOX

NO/WAS same as above

DAL/NYG By far a lot better than the 2 above

SF @ Seattle on KTVU Oakland via Comcast. 480p? Sure it's not a marquee game but come on!! Oh yeah it's Fox...
Every week now its ridiculous on FOX with the 1pm NFL game here. Continual freezes, last week we completely missed Philly's 2 pt conversion. Same bologna this week. Is it the network or the local's crappy equipment?

FOX doesn't send any game in 480p. They are all 720p now.

Is the pre-game with Bradshaw, et al, 480? It looks pretty soft, and even has a few "jaggies" at times. (Don't know if there's a different term used in the broadcasting world).

Yes Fox is still SD from the studio. All studio shows and game breaks are done in widescreen 480i. You will notice a drop from HD to SD right before a game break and vice versa once the game break is over.

Wow, I didn't know that as it always looked really good to me. I learned something new. I agree with a previous post, the NY/DAL game looked really good OTA.
I have to say that FOX looked better than it ever has today. Both the Bears/Rams and Cowboys/Giants game looked terrific on DirecTV on South Bend, IN affiliates.
Terrible directing at the end of the first half of the Cowboys/Giants game. Fight starts with a lot of players and they just start running some other video while Joe Buck tries to tell us what is happening on the field. Then they cut to commercial.

The reasoning is NFL TV rules. They have to show you the entire game of the team in your market which is the case for NYC. For other markets if it wasn't your primary 1:00 game then they can't stay with it, they have to show the DH game.

Then of course there was the commercials in the Giants game. Since the NO vs WAS game was in OT they couldn't show any commercials in the DAL vs NYG game until the full audience was there. That's why the 1st QTR only took 25 minutes and the 2nd took 55.
