I plan on laying them flat & off the ground on 2x4s; with weights to help maintain the flatness once they're cut.

Just like Bill said. I would have been shocked if they didn't warp. You should always keep wood off the ground when acclimatizing it. some simple 2x2's on the ground and between the sheets will work.

Wood is a more complex creature than people think. Especially hard woods. You have to factor in movement and warping when your building something of decent quality. I never buy wood at HD for that reason. All there wood is flat sawed crap and as you are finding out, much of there plywood is poorly glued. So the lesson here is that if you have a wood supply store near you, it is worth the little extra money to go and get a decent sheet of plywood.

The 2x2 "stickers" between the sheets is the part that a lot of guys miss.
You need air circulation on both sides of each sheet in the stack.

Here's a tip for straightening cupped panels.
I think MaxMercy mentioned it elswhere on this forum.

Lightly spritz some water mist onto the concave side, then turn that side down on the pavement.
The uneven evaporation will pull the panel in the other direction.
Just keep an eye on it and stop the process when it is flat, or you will end up with your panel bowed in the other direction.
Then use the 2x2 stickers (the name for the dividers used to create an air gap), to allow for uniform air circulation.

yea i dunno what i was thinking.. I usually would put it up but space was limited, as were supplies.. Hopefully I can get the bend out of whats left, and remember to spend $3 more next time for a few 8 foot 2x4s

It seems as if most of the THT build threads are around 2010-ish. I stumbled upon the plans a bit behind the curve and was curious if anyone is still building THT's. I believe I have read most of the build threads and find the info invaluable. I began my build over the weekend and make decent progress thus far.

Let's see some pics / build thread! I still love my pair of THT LPs.

These things seem amazing. Thanks for the encouragement. I will take your advise and snap a few photos and start a build thread. I read dbldares thread but do not think I stumbled across a Brad thread.
