Power Cord Lengths

Hi all,

I am looking at adding a power conditioner/surge protector to the rack, to feed to all the components. Sending to the Amp, and Blu-ray player is fine, but the projector and subwoofer is located at 12.5' and 20' away respectively. If I was to use extra long power cords to reach these areas, would it defeat the purpose of the conditioner, and would running power cords this long have any adverse effects?

I doubt it! I have run cords up to 25' from the conditioner to subs.

Blue Jeans in Seattle also carries some great priced cables. That's where I get all of mine.
