I've got the sickness. I recently built a Bill Fitzmaurice THT. Quick and easy build, only took about 4 hours at most, but this is a 38hz tapped horn designed by Volvotreter.
I wanted something to give me accurate sound with my Event Studio monitors (JTR Triple 8HT speakers are going in the basement theatre when finished, not in use at the moment.) Unbelieveable output from a TangBand 6.5" 1139SI subwoofer getting fed by a Dayton 100w plate amp.
I will definatly be building one more to put on each side of the monitors. I just stuck in the middle for testing. I think I might also try my first efforts at veneering with a pretty cherry or dark walnut since they are so noticeable in my office.
