Is it worth buying a Panny AE4000 over Epson 8100?

Hey All,

I am in a dilemma

I just bought an Elite Ez frame 120" 16:9 screen. The next on the list is the projector.

I had initially thought about buying Panny ae4000 'cause I was planning to buy an elite cinema 2.35:1 screen.

Since I have bought a regular 16:9 screen and will be using it in a light controlled room with a 13.5 feet throw distance.

Is it worth spending 500 bucks more for the Panny or just buy the Epson 8100?

Please help me as this is driving me nuts

The AE4000 IS worth $500 over the Epson 8100. Some of the pros are:
- Inorganic panel
- FULL support for 2.35
- Excellent black levels
- frame interpolation

The Epson 8100 is an entry level PJ where as the AE4000 is considered mid level. The Epson 8500 is more along the lines of AE4000 for comparison.
