Bang and Olufsen 8000 and 6000.. any thoughts

I wonder if anyone has feedback on Bang & Olufsen 6000 and 8000 speakers. Could I put 8000s as my front and 6000s as my surround back in
Home Theater system? Any thoughts on how they will fare?

If you already have them, they will work fine in that config, if you don't there are much better options for the money.

Are you going for looks or sound? And what do you have to drive them with? Do you have an AVR, separates?

I read a comment by a B&O engineer that the 6000 is a car speaker stuck into a tall tin can.

I own a pair of the Beolab 8000's. They are one of my all-time favorite speakers. I've never heard the 6000's. Are there any other 8000 owners out there?
