recessed cable management.

I will be running direct tv to eight rooms in the house.. two cable lines per room.. i would like to put in a recessed wall box for a central location of the multiswitches. Can you guys give me a site were i can find these boxes with a cover.. would like to put it in closet, for easy access....

thanks in advance...

the multiswitches a pretty big and would need at least a 2.5 ft X 2.5 feet.. just a guess..

Perhaps a structured wiring box...

However; could be too narrow - these are typically about 14.5" wide so that they can be recessed between wall studs...

Sounds like you need a SWM-8 from DTV. This will allow one RG-6 cable to each room that will split the signal allowing two feeds thru the single cable. Just set mine up over the holidays....works great!
