Kiss Kiss Bang Bang non-combo HD DVD

Did this ever exist as a non-combo? I was checking another forum which seemed to confirm all they ever did was replace the artwork on existing combo versions and never made any non combo disks. The so-called non-combo I received even had feet on the case which seems to prove my theory.

I thought HighDefDigest reviewed a non-combo version?

I saw that review, but I don't think they actually had a disk.

i am one of the folks out there that really did not care for the combo disc at all.not to long ago i bought what was supposed to be a non combo version of kiss kiss bang bang.the red case did not indicate a combo disc.since it only had the hd-dvd logo on the top.however lo and behold what was in the case was in fact a combo disc.lucky it was only a few bucks to purchase it but it was kind of puzzling anyway.i find it sort of crazy that universal is doing what in essence is a combo disc on blu-ray now with there re-issue of the bourne movies.it seems to me that at this stage of the hi-def disc game the disc should be a stand alone hi-def disc.since-oh yea the consumer is no longer confused by having 3 disc formats to figure out!!!

I got one from Australia that had a combo inside but there was absolutely no mention of it on the outside packaging. It played fine so I didn't give it much thought at the time.
