is the Pioneer VSX 1019 AH-K worth the extra $100+ or so over the Onkyo TX-SR607.

this is what im looking to pair together... a Panny 50 inch S1 plasma, the Onkyo 607 and some polk audio speakers for surround sound (5.1 to start)

if i go that route, i will be under my 2,000 budget. its going to be night and day difference compared to what i have but will i be frustrated in the future? mostly gaming, 360, wii, and ps3 with in the year.

How much is Onkyo's iPod interface? Do you need or want that feature? Pioneer includes the cable for free. Is it worth $100 to you

I went with 1019 because of the ability to tweak the MCACC setup along with iPod feature.

Why buy a 1019 when you can get the Elite 21 for the same price? They are on sale everywhere, just be sure its an authorized dealer. Others here have said they got the Elite 21 at Best Buy for the same price as the 1019AH.

I'd go with the Onkyo myself over the Pioneer. Or the Elite as Phantom suggested.
