New Samsung 50 B650 plasma from Cleveland Plasma

Bought this and a Oppo blu-ray last night. I like the idea of buying from a Forumn sponsor.

I'm in the Northeast and it tends to get very cold (and snowy, 24" plus today). Cleveland plasma states that the tv needs to be plugged in before the delivery man leaves. Isn't 5 to 10 minutes to short for the plasma to acclimate if it is 15 degrees outside and the thing has been in a truck all day?

explode?? I assume that is sarcasm. What have people done that take delivery of these units in the dead of winter? About 2 weeks ago it was -2 in the morning and the high for the day was 8.

You only need to turn it on for a few seconds and bring up some menus to make sure it powers up and displays a picture then you can quickly turn it off. The TV won't heat up enough to hurt anything if you keep it short like that.

I purchased a 58V10 from CP...all was good , I tipped the delivery guy..he helped me set it up...take it out of the box..put it together (stand)
and he checked it out with me...front and back , we even hooked up
my cable to get a picture. It was chilly out...no problem whatso ever.
