For some reason all of a sudden the A.F.D. Auto function has decided to not send audio to the surrounds, where as it was doing it before. I have also noticed minor static/popping under certain levels, though it very well may have been the source, which was Forza 3, when I would hit rumble strips. Also for some reason the sound reaching the surround right is weaker and more muffled sounding than the left, even when using the noise and phase test. It auto adjusts the right 2.5dB+ compared to the equal spaced left. Does this sound like any certain problem seen before? I hope this isn't a sign of something bad... maybe there really is a reason this receiver gets a bad reputation. I'm going to go back and rewire the surround to be sure it's not just a fluke with my wiring, but that still doesn't explain the sudden loss of surround channels on DTS and Dolby, like Star Trek and Band of Brothers Blu-ray. Surround still works if I choose the E.Surround setting, which is currently set to Dolby Pro Logic II.
