Yet another set-up question (2.1 or 3.1)

I'm looking for a 2.1 or 3.1 setup for the living room. Mostly used to watch movies and shows (mostly in 5.1 sound, some DTS too)

It has to be without rear speaker because cables trough the living-room are a big NO NO for the misses

i'll hook up a set-top box for the digital TV (kinda like a TIVO but worse)
A Popcornhour A-110 and a normal DVD-player

I don't want to spent more then 300€ (absolute limit, no chance of going over this)

I may have a DVD-player in it, not really needed.

I've been looking at a Logitech Z-5500 (maybe a bit to much PC-stuff) and at a Onkyo HTX-22HD. Are these any good or are there better options.
