Don't get me wrong, Randy. Panasonic's '09 X1, C1, and U1 series plasmas were all great for the money...and yes, their LCDs were also rated highly (I sold both Panasonic's and Samsung's over everyone else's); but they don't offer groundbreaking features, either, at least not in the sense that G or V series plasmas do. If given the choice, I would pick an entry level Panasonic OR Samsung LCD, as opposed to a Haier or Sylvania, especially considering that they are similarly priced. My point is that people need to be educated about how to get the most from their display. Maybe I used the wrong terminology, and should have used "entry-level" as opposed to "low-end". I will change my posts to reflect this.









Maybe they are brown so you don't notice the black levels diminish as much
