But that is not the direction I expect you to say. I thought you will say the dynamics becomes better. The image of the sound becomes better. The dialogues in the movies becomes more clear. it no longer sounds like a voice coming from green giants. Or the bass sound more open, instead congested or compressed. Or you can hear the details of the special effect better. Or when it rains in the movies, you can now feel that it sounds like it actually rain outside your house, that type of realism. Or even something like the music now sound more fluid and you listen to music more than before.
Comfynumb asked a question about how our servo subs will sound different. Those are the areas that our subs will sound betters. Some customers will notice and others will not.
Dragonleepenn made a comment about some nay sayers. I am patient. If they keep an open mind, they will change one day. ShadyJ used to be skeptical about servo. I sent him an FV12 just let him explore. His comments were that on most materials he cannot hear any difference, but there is one track with complex sound of trains on rails that he and his son can both clearly hear the difference between FV12 and the subs he had at that time. That is already a good start for me. The more complex the sound is, the more one can hear the difference. If we just hear 10hz sine tone (I hear that in speaker testing all the time), I cannot even tell a 20% distortion. But on a real recording, it is very audible what different subs make.
It is a strange that those who don't believe a speaker or amplifier can make a difference in sound tend to continue to buy/use cheaper equipment. That just further re-enforces the idea. It is like a cycle. There are some that can they can break the cycle. However, there are always some who can never break that cycle.
