I new this sub made a difference when I went upstairs and the home health aid that was taking care of her asked me if I got a new sound system, she said the whole house was shaking, lol.
I have the Yamaha a2020, what input should I use the LFE or Line in.
Use LFE, set mains to small, and phase to 0. Use your receiver to calibrate delay. Select the crossover frequency on your receiver according to what sounds best. I usually use 80hz, but I'm currently getting better results with 70hz for left/right and 90hz for center. The Rythmiks can go higher than most, so the crossover frequency is mainly driven by the room and the bass capabilities of your main speakers.
There are times when using line in can be useful (to apply more processing in the sub to solve specific problems), but since your receiver is doing your sub crossover, the first choice is to bypass that in the sub by using LFE.
