Help with htpc setup

Thread Starter
Hi.
I'm going to build an htpc for my house, and i have some questions regarding the setup.
will it pull it off or not, can this system handle 720p and 1080p and also watch tv in it?
here are the specs:
Case: Nox media IMON
Motherboard: gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H
CPU: AMD ATHLON II X4 620
Memory: Kingston Kit 2 GB DDR2 800 MHZ
Graphics Card: onboard for now
Hard Drive: WD 500GB SATA II 16 MB
Optical Drive: Samsung DVD+-R 22X SH223F for now, probably will be updated to something capable of blueray
PSU: Corsair VX450W
TV Tuner: PowerColor TV Wonder 650 Digital PCI Express
Remote: ?
OS: Vista or Windows 7 still deciding.
will not be using it for gaming whatsoever, just the ocasional msn, and internet browsing.

feedback would be appreciated
thanks in advance.

Well, I've got the same MB and a slower processor and (can) watch 1080p all day long-shouldn't be an issue with your system.

For the price, I'd bump to a 1 terabyte drive. You never think you need that much storage, but you always do.

+1, HD video eats a lot of space and it adds up quickly.
