Suggestions for new Plasma

Thread Starter
Hey, a friend of mine suggested getting the TCP54G10 of these since they're on sale at many places now for around 1300-1400. I looked at cnets reviews and they're good. To save time so I don't have to read all 250+ pages of the pinned thread is this a good price for a good quality plasma?

Is there another set out there that I would be better advised to sink my money into?

I'm looking for 1080p, 50+ inches, between $1000-2000. I have all 3rd generation gaming consoles and hoping to install HD DVR through Directv.

Also, what should I do about calibrating it? Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

TCP54G10 is the way I would go IMO You can take a look at the 12G settings thread about settings and calibration.

If your company has it, the EPP price on a V10 will meet your budget
