Can you use Klipsch RS-10s as front and rears

A store near buy has the RS-10's on clearance right now.

Here's what I have (just not hooked up)

Yamaha 6240
Klipsch RC-52 Center
Polk PSW125 Sub

I was going to buy RF-82's for the front and then in another month or so when I get the money pick up RS-52 for the rear

However the local speaker shop has RS-10s on clearance and the salesmen is suggesting using them as fronts and rears to get my system up and running. He's willing to sell me all 4 for $279. The RF-82's are $699 each and the RS-52 is $399 so it's a huge costing. He said since I am going to be using it for movies only that it should work fine.

Thoughts?

You do not want to use RS-10's for your mains and center. The RS speakers spread out the sound field making it hard to pinpoint where it is coming from. That is not what you want for the front sound stage.

They would be great for the side and/or rear speakers. As mjg100 said - they aren't made for imaging - they are made for dispersion of the sound field.
