I just checked the number of operating hours I have logged onto my two HDTVs.
The 52XBR4, which is about 2.25 years old has 9,000 operating hours on it.
The 55XBR8, which is at almost exactly a year has about 4000 operating hours on it.
So far, so good with both sets, which is good because I have zero intentions of getting caught up in any of this 3D TV madness...lol, unless the manufacturers will be giving full refunds for any TV purchased within the last 3 years.
Later I may try to post links to instructions on how to check operating hours on both sets. In the mean time if you perform a thread search in either owner's thread, you should be able to find instructions for obtaining this info.
