My new setup

My setup as of 1-12-2013. It continues to change.

TV-Samsung PN58B550(1080p)
Front L/R- Mirage OMD 28
Center-OMD C2
Surround- OMD R
Receiver- Anthem MRX 500
Amps- Emotiva XPA-3, Emotiva XPA-2
Subs- SVS PB12 PLUS(front), SVS PC12 PLUS(back) on subdude
BD- OPPO 93
Remote- Harmony One
Charter Motorola HD DVR
Power conditioner/ Surge protector- Belkin Pure AV PF30
Antec Low Profile Component Cooler
BDI Avion Noir 8937 A/V stand

Have been lurking for a while. Thought I would show my setup.

TV- Samsung PN58B550
Receiver- Yamaha RX-V863
Speakers- Mirage OMD-15 (fronts)
OMD-C2(center)
OMD-R(surrounds)
Sub- Energy ESW V10 and Mirage Prestige S10
Blu ray/Game- PS3 250GB
Amps- Emotiva XPA-3 and UPA-2
Charter Motorola HD DVR
Harmony One Remote

Spurrier, you do have a very sweet setup! Per our conversation on another site, keep the Onkyo changer! It's a nice component and very unique. 6 discs, can't find that anymore! The Def Tech Mythos gives the sytem and setup an elegant, but understated look. Ya did good!
By the way, same rules I showed you over at bluray.com apply here when embedding your photos.

Surronds are up now. I also moved the sub to the back of the room to hide it. I can also add 2nd sub now, maybe.

I'm happy with it right now. It sounds great. Sound just feels the room. Thinking of adding 2nd sub(Mirage Prestige S10), but not sure I need it just want it. Hope the wife doesn't mind.

Me too! what the hell. Not sure why it's like that unless the window frame is not level or the rod is bent. It's going to be replaced one day.


Thanks for pointing that out. It's now fixed. Bracket was bent and I added the center bracket. Had been like that for a year and no one said anything about it. I like honest opinion. I guess you don't always get that from people you know.

You have a great setup! Really like the contemporary style. Do you remember where you got the mosaic rug? Been looking for something like that for my predominantly brown family room--it would lighten up the room a bit because of the dark hardwood.

Added new 58" 1080p plasma, 2nd sub, and Emotiva XPA-3. Mirage OMD 15's and OMD c1 are on order and should arrive on 7/7. Here is a pic of setup with new display and amp. Display still had protective covering on when pic was taken.

Nice upgrade with the tv but this is just a personal thing: I think your stand clashes with the floor and the rest of the equipment. Something like a dark cherry or mocha would fit better. Also, how do you like the new amp? Do you feel it makes enough of a jump in dynamics over the receiver to make it worth it with your speakers? Finally, how's your wire management coming along? I haven't seen any pics behind the entertainment unit but I'm just a stickler for that stuff so it's what I notice. Looks good though, I bet the bigger screen brings out the theater feel huh?

You're right about the stand. Christmas time will solve that. Love the amp and yes it was worth it. Wire management could be better than it is, but out of sight out of mind.

Now those are manly speakers lol. Have you had a chance to break them in somewhat and test them out? If so give us an update on how they sound. Lookin' good.
