Hi all,
My system is a 'minimalistic' setup: CDP/preamp->tubeamp->speakers. Three components - that's it. Audio Aero Capitole MKII SE->Art Audio PX25 single-ended tube amp->FAB Audio Model1 high efficiency (97dB) speakers.

With a minimum of effort placed in equipment, I turned my attention to room acoustics. I've spent much time and energy building diffusers (Skylines, Hemi-cylindrical) and bass traps, moving them all around the room while taking measurements for each treatment placement combination. The effects of the treatment are phenominal (not because I'm any special carpenter); for example, a 11dB peak at 80Hz is now only 3dB, and the side wall flutter echo is completely gone, and the attenuation of the indirect sounds via diffusion allows more of the direct sound to be heard easier. Room acoustics is really the other half of the equation.

Alas, the file size restriction would mean I'd have to resize all the pics when it seemed easier and faster to import them into Word and Save As .pdf.

Can you not open a pdf file?

Anyway, I don't know anything about room treatments or the system you have, but it does look amazing.

In the future, if you feel like resizing your images, there is a free image viewer/converter called irfan view. Very simple to use

Yes, I built the Skylines myself and I've posted how over on the Master Acoustics thread that you may recall reading.

I used http://www.oliverprime.com/prd.php to assist in designing them after hunting for a Prime number that fit my desired wall dimensions of height and width. I plan on re-doing the back wall with 18"depths which would have been deeper had my room been longer to accommodate a sitting distance of 3 wavelengths from its lowest frequency, using cell depth = 50% of wavelength as the guideline. A max cell depth of 18" is 50% of 377Hz.

I'm also a GIK customer in case you didn't catch the stack of 8 GIK Tri-traps in the back left corner of the picture extending from floor to ceiling with a 6" air space extending 30" into the room. Now THAT's a bass trap!

You just need some free image hosting like eg. Photobucket, ImageShack, etc

I thought I'd try and show my little vintage 2-channel setup. It's really nothing fancy at all. But it does rock, and I do enjoy spinning the wax. Keep in mind all this gear is from the 70's, which was my goal when I started piecing it together. I hope you like it and as always, turn it up!

Here's the front soundstage of my combination stereo/ Home Theater. B&W 801Ds and HTM1D center, driven by a Krell EV403 amplifier (amp hidden in alcove behind center speaker and GIK bass traps). JL Audio F113 subwoofer sits behind right speaker. 6 GIK bass traps in all, hidden behind curtains.

Love that turntable...got one just like it with an OM-30.

Modest bedroom set-up (third system in house) completed today with the addition of the Quads. Pieced together for $1000. Although a 3.1 set-up, primary use is 2.1.
