Barco 808 using HD Fury III, Gamma X (the picture is still great after 6 years) Using Oppo BD-83 SE blue ray player

Nice pj. My first introduction to front projection was with an 808 I bought from a university sale. Very nice picture, and a quiet projector too.

I don't miss the time it takes to set a crt up though.

As soon as I got that 808 I had a chance to buy a flight simulator 909 with the super fast tubes for 2grand (this was 8 years ago) with only 8 hrs on it but, not knowing what it was, I passed on it. Still kicking myself for that one.

Thanks! I have noticed that the detailed aspect of B&W's are a really nice match for this genre.

I only have Lateralus and it is a very nice sounding disc, I have yet to delve into their other albums. My CDP has HDCD decoding and this album benefits from this as it's HDCD encoded.

After drooling at most others' systems, I conjured up enough confidence to post my small, and starting, 2-Channel system. I have also included pic's of my bedroom setup. (Keep in mind my bedroom setup with 32" Flat Panel LCD and audio speakers, both purchased new, were under $450 ).

Martin Logan Motion 4's / Banana Plug's with crappy Sony Receiver

Ddgtr's pic, I used the"^^^" to indicate, instead of quoting and reposting the pic.

Thanks Bill,

LOL, I also had to do a lot of convincing to do, and part of the tactic was to show her other people's setups... The other thing that sealed the deal was when she listened for the first time to her favorite classical music. Now she goes in that room once in a while for a listen and she just approved my new speaker purchase. Keep at it, if you do it right you'll get what you want.

Your system is simply stunning, dd. Well done. I can't wait to see your room when the SFs arrive.
