They retailed for more than $800, it was somewhere between $1200-1600 a pair. They where manufactured 92-93, very limited production. They are a rare find today because they stopped production almost as soon as it started. Since this was ARs last plug at high end audio before they picked up shop from the east coast and moved to California they didn't have much time to market them or even print user manuals for each unit.
They are a great speaker, unfortunately not too many collectors are actively looking for this particular line. This is odd considering how fantastic they are. They were benchmark setting for their price. Because of the lacking collector's market for these they don't seem to fetch high dollar amounts. My personal suggestion would be to hold on to them as the collector market may become interested at a later time.
