Also, after I placed the order, on the order confirmation page it said they are going to have Sony ship the cam direct to me so Im guessing Ill get it pretty quick, about the same time as if I had ordered direct from Sony.
Anyway, I hope I made the right choice with the XR550, I already have a Pioneer BDR-205 and a bunch of BD-R media ready to make and burn home made Blu-Ray movies.
I think that you will not be disappointed by the xr550.
Your option would have been mainly the xr550 or the panny tm/hs700
I own a panny hs350. I am buying the sony xr550 because I need that my camcorder has the 37mm lens ring.
In general sony xr550 should have lower noise in low light videos in comparison to panny, unless the new tm700 became incredible good in that sense.
In general panny can reach 1 lux, while instead sony 3 lux. So panny teoretically can see in lower light situations, but "maybe" with more noise...(this was sure for the old xr520 vs tm300/350)
Anyway, did they gave u a tracking number ?
When you are going to receive the camcorder ?
Are u located in USA ? I am ...and thinking to order from them too
Which type of shipping option you choose ?
