It looks like my OnQ 3x8 video distribution module is introducing noise into my system, causing intermittent problems with my Comcast digital voice service. I can't recall how old the unit is, but it's an IS-0013 Rev. D and Onq/Legrand is currently at Rev F, so it's at least a few years old.

As I look to replace this module, I see everything from around $100 for an Open house H838BID up to $265 for a new OnQ module. ChannelPlus and Leviton are somewhere in the middle price-wise.

These things all spec out the same with 5-42Mhz returns and 54-1000Mhz upstream, 2 modulator inputs, etc. Any thoughts on overall quality, durability, etc? Having experience with just the one unit, which worked fine until recently, I have no idea whether there are other factors to consider.

Thanks...
