HTPC with Panasonic PT-AX100...no worky...ideas?

I built a HTPC (XBMC) and have been using happily on a Phillips LCD for a while. This uses the included DVI->HDMI adapter. I recently bought an Acer Revo for it's form factor and noise level and want to move my HTPC down to my dedicated theater (replacing my Popcorn hour) which has a PT-AX100 projector.
When I boot up the HTPC connecting the projector via HDMI with DVI-HDMI adapter...I get nothing. I went as far as moving the PC right under the projector (only 6 feet of HDMI)...still nothing.
I went into BIOS and disabled audio over HDMI....still nothing.

Any other ideas?

Thanks
Scott

Maybe try booting with a regular monitor & the nadjusting the display properties to say that you have 2 displays?
I normally have to boot on a normal LCD display & then enable my projector/2nd display in windows after

Thanks for the idea...what's weird is I don't even see the BIOS on bootup. It never syncs with the display. I guess a regular monitor would let me see what's going on.
