Wouldn't be hanging out our beaches, with all the sharks.

Early review leaks look very positive, especially for the Hulk character...

I'm really glad Disney took over the rights. If Paramount had the rights, the press in Toronto wouldn't screen it until 2 days before the release.

Interestingly, Paramount is getting royalties on The Avengers, even though they have no part in it's production. I guess their part in successfully establishing the core characters will not go unrewarded.

Black spider with a broad red band on there back and when they bite you know about it. You will need medical attention ASAP.

And of course, the 3D is reported to be sh*t. Complete sh*t. Converted, useless, sh*t. And the largest screens will have, the sh*t version, forcing us to see the real version on a smaller screen.

Thanks, Hollywood, for ruining the movie experience for all of us.

The 3D enthusiast will get upset with you Matt. I definitely agree with you though.

EVERYTHING in Aus. tries to kill humans...anyone who can survive it is the very definition of "tough."

Good luck finding it in 2D at all. As I've said a number of times, many of the larger multiplex have no interest in 2D anymore since they can charge $4+ overhead for 3D showings, thus eliminating the 2D option altogether. If I was seeing it in 3D I'd see it in IMAX, but there are no IMAX theaters near me showing it, so it's 2D or wait for it to hit Blu. I'm not paying $13+ to see it in a dinky-little multiplex theater.

That hasn't happened at my local theater yet, but if it does, it'll kill whatever interest I have in seeing it at the theater. I'll wait to see it on BR from Redbox, and if I like it, I'll buy it. I WILL NOT buy into having 3D shoved down my throat.

FYI: I just had an email interaction with the manager of my local IMAX theater (Jordan's IMAX) and he said the reason why they're not showing The Avengers is because it's digital and they only show film based IMAX movies (which he said looks better). Interesting.
