The success of Thor and likely success of Captain America certainly bodes well for this film.

I wonder if The Avengers is successful will WB make a Justice League movie.

They'd have to go through the same process of giving characters their own films( not Batman or Superman), but Flash and Wonder Woman would probably need their own set-up films ( Green Lantern is coming out this summer or course).

There's already a Flash film in the works, btw.

I heard but it seems like it's been a long time coming...

They've already had a few JL screenplays written, but as you say a Flash solo project (and maybe an Aquaman or Wonder Woman) would be required before they moved forward with it.

I actually think Martian Manhunter would make for a more interesting solo project (than WW or Aquaman), but seeing as J6P probably has no idea who he is, I doubt he would even be used in a JLA movie, let alone his own.

According to DCE, that's not how it's going to work. DC will handle it differently than Marvel. The JLA movie will be seperate and not connected to any individual hero franchises. So Superman, Batman, and Green Lantern will NOT be Cavill, Bale, or Reynolds. The individual films will have their own seperate continuity. And the JL movie will have its own world as well. So they can do a JL movie anytime without having to wait or be connected to a FLASH or HAWKMAN (in the works) series. Offering different incarnations of the characters is a great idea, I think. (Well, I like it). Allows for different interpretations and also seperates them from what Marvel is doing.
Might allow for, say, a more mature version of FLASH in an individual franchise and a more family-friendly one in JL, for example. Or allow for
both Barry Allan and Wally West. Or Hal Jordan and John Stewart. Any confusion can easily be addressed. (John Stewart already makes an appearance in the GREEN LANTERN film. Rumor has it that Guy Gardner and Alan Scott might appear as well.)

Theyve stopped it

Not much to see anyway.....

I don't have high hopes for this one.
Joss Whedon's record with films is....uh...not so good.
It says that they might show this at the end of the CA movie and it's a spoiler. Since I'm seeing the movie this weekend, I'm not going to watch. However, Whedon as the director is pitiful. The Avenger's has infinite potential. Can't wait to see CA this weekend!!!!

^^Apparently this teaser isn't available everywhere. My wife and I saw Cpt. America yesterday, I told her (not knowing it might be the teaser above) to stay until the very end of the credits since there's usually something cool to see . Well...we're still waiting. There was absolutely nothing. How come we don't get to see it in Montreal C-a-n-a-d-a?

Thanks for posting it though lwright84

Full trailer released!

^^^ ohhhh Scarlet!!!

thank you very much lwright84 now how are we supposed to wait til its release? ...Looks amazing, I think Mark Ruffalo will be great as Hulk...
Hrm... I've been skeptical of this film ever since it was announced, and this trailer didn't excite me too much. I hope the action sequences have more to offer than cars exploding in NY for the umpteenth thousandth time.

...I'd rather have my expectations set too low than too high.

They are still filming this.

I hate rock music in trailers.

Ditto....very nice trailer.

M.R. is an excellent actor, but Norton did a very fine job and would have liked to see him in the role again.
Yet to see Captain America, but after Thor I have hopes that this will be good.
This one could go either way. It's too bad they couldn't get Edward Norton to be in this one- too many big egos (and payrolls) to manage I guess.
I think this will be outstanding. With the back stories in place, this thing could just rock!
Haha I just saw that Lou Ferrigno is providing the voice for Hulk, nice!

........But where's Natalie Portman!! I would have thought Thor's girlfriend would have shown up as well.

Actually, this wasn't a matter of "couldn't get Edward Norton." He wanted to reprise the role of Banner, but Marvel decided to recast the role.
