According to DCE, that's not how it's going to work. DC will handle it differently than Marvel. The JLA movie will be seperate and not connected to any individual hero franchises. So Superman, Batman, and Green Lantern will NOT be Cavill, Bale, or Reynolds. The individual films will have their own seperate continuity. And the JL movie will have its own world as well. So they can do a JL movie anytime without having to wait or be connected to a FLASH or HAWKMAN (in the works) series. Offering different incarnations of the characters is a great idea, I think. (Well, I
like it). Allows for different interpretations and also seperates them from what Marvel is doing.
Might allow for, say, a more mature version of FLASH in an individual franchise and a more family-friendly one in JL, for example. Or allow for
both Barry Allan and Wally West. Or Hal Jordan and John Stewart. Any confusion can easily be addressed. (John Stewart already makes an appearance in the GREEN LANTERN film. Rumor has it that Guy Gardner and Alan Scott might appear as well.)
