As I stated before, I wasn't a big fan of the American remake of
The Vanishing. I heartily recommend the original, also available as a stream.
Something I've enjoyed is
Skins, a BBC drama about a group of kids in senior high school (which they call "sixth form college"), in the city of Bristol. Very raw, no holds barred stuff, well written and acted. Netflix has streams for
Skins Volume 1 and
Skins Volume 2, consisting of 9 and 10 one-hour episodes each. The series is currently in its fourth season with a second cast (two years per "college" class)--I've been watching it week-to-week on BBC America HD.
