I have Direct TV which outputs a 1080p/24 signal. Unfortunately, my TV is a Sony KDS50A2000 which only accepts 1080p/60 signals and can not scale 1080p/24 to 1080p/60 so I get a 1080i resolution displayed. Will the Onkyo TX-SR876 be able to process the signal from my Direct TV HD DVR and scale a signal to a 1080p signal my TV can accept process or will my TV still only show 1080i at best in this scenario?
