I have an Onkyo 607 with a HTPC hooked up to 1 of the HDMI ins. I have no issues whatsoever with the PC/Onkyo. Works pretty much flawlessly. However after only about 6 months, I already have AVR upgrade-itis. The main reason being I just don't fell like I'm getting everything I can out of my Paradigm Studio 40's using the 607. Right or wrong? I'm sure at some point in the coming months I will upgrade to something more powerful, but my question is going to be---are there any AVR's I should avoid that have known issues with HTPC's? And since the 607 is the best receiver i have ever owned, will I actually get a lot more from my Studio 40's if I do upgrade? I also watch a lot of HDTV and Bluray, but I have a lot of music and movies on my PC so it is very important that any new AVR not have any handshake issues with my PC.
