Just ordered the Infocus SP8602. It was on sale for a price hard to beat. I've seen many projectors past few months, including the JVC X3. I've also seen the IN83.
For me atleast, the DLP's seem to have something in the picture they throw, that I like so I hope the Infocus will give me that! Also I am sensitive to rainbows, but 6x wheels seems to fix it for me. So it was either the Infocus SP8602 or the Optoma HD87 for me in my pricerange.
I'm able to mount it atleast 1-1,5 feet above the top of my screen and also as close or far as needed.
I'm starting of with a 106" light grey screen - really just to get startet - I might end up with a Firehawk, DNP or Black Diamond since the projector is ending up in a family room.
Seating distance is around 15 feet.
I also added a pre calibration on the projector, hope that works out great.
