How high is your plasma off the floor - 50 or 60"..

Finalizing specs on my custom media console. I currently have a 50" that may possibly be a 60" on the future. The media console is speced at 20" high. If I place my center ontop of the console, that overall heights lands at 29". That leaves me with 2 inches of space as the current bottom height of my plasma is 31.


IF/when I was to upgrade to a 60", I suppose the screen may be possibly a drop lower.

I'm debating having the finished height of the console be 22" versus my current spec of 20"

My Pio 50" plasma is on a stand that is about 31 inches tall. Its probably slightly higher than most people would have it but we like it that way. Im sitting about 9 feet away and my line of sight is right about halfway down the screen. Works great for us. I dont like flat panels being too low, they dont look right, IMO.

My Pio 60" is on a stand roughly the same height as above. 20" seems crazy low to me, especially for a 50". But that's just me.

31" is the Bottom of where my screen is installed.

20" is the spec of my ~custom~ console (meaning not off the shelf premade furniture). The center channel will sit ontop of this which makes the overall finished height 29"
