what is better, polk r50 or cerwin vega d-5?

ive had some cerwin vega d-5 speakers for about 25 years now, love them! but im wondering, would polk d50 be any better, or should i stick with what i have. i use them for my l & r speakers in my 7.1 setup. thanks for any opinions! i am using infinity for my center and rears.

I had a set of those and gave em to my brother. I wanted to use em but you cant find a matching center. Unless you built one

I guess you could use them with a phantom center till you save up for somthing better but IMO they just arnt designed for HT use.

I measured mine with the port size and the cabnet size i think they are tuned for 40hz wich isnt bad. I wanted a dedicated 5.1 system, L/R dedicated and center dedicated with the sub.
